Outreach Workshops at Pensford Primary School
June 2026
We are excited to share news about the art workshops that took place at Pensford Primary School in June 2026. Arts Hub artist in residence, Jasmine Smail, hosted outreach sessions with students across the whole school - a first for primary school workshops run by an Arts Hub artist! The sessions were inspired by Publow Church Art Competition themed around 'Stained Glass'. While Duckling class created a collaborative stained glass den structure out of coloured tissue paper, students from other year groups were guided to make an individual stained glass artwork using materials ranging from ink to tissue paper as part of the competition. Here is a photo of year 5 children creating stained glass using ink!

Outreach Workshops at East Harptree Primary School
July 2026
We are excited to share news about the art workshops that took place at East Harptree Primary School in June 2026. Arts Hub artist in residence, Ali Brown, hosted outreach sessions with students in Reception and Years 1 & 2 - the first time an Arts Hub artist in residence has worked with the younger years of the Primary School! The sessions were also unique in that the artworks created by the children in the sessions were a follow on from the collaborative "village project" started at the Arts Hub brunch earlier in April 2026. Each child used scrap collage materials to make their own contribution to an imaginary village creation. Here is a photo of one of the miniature houses made for the "village"!
