Card Illustration Workshop

Our artist in residence Keri Green held a fantastic card illustration workshop on 10th August. This was in collaboration with the East Harptree Flower and Crafts show which takes place on the 14th September. Works made during the workshop can be entered into one of the Flower Show categories - such as a handmade greeting card or a piece of art.

We had a great turnout for the workshop, with a lot of families attending and children as young as five taking part. Keri showed some simple tricks and examples from her own illustrated cards to structure the workshop and had an array of mixed media for people to use to create their card.

Feedback from the workshop was positive and highlighted how putting on the workshop gave participants the dedicated time and "peace" to "do something they normally wouldn't do"
